Cookie Policy
Jentoo AI, Inc.
The short version
We use a small set of cookies: ones the site needs to work (like keeping you signed in and counting free questions), ones that remember your preferences, and — only if you allow them — analytics that help us improve. No advertising cookies, ever. You can change your choices any time from the footer.
This Cookie Policy explains how Jentoo AI, Inc. (“Jentoo AI,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit or use our website and related software (the “Services”). This Policy supplements our Privacy Policy.
1What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by a website. They help the site remember your preferences, keep you logged in, and understand how you use it. Similar technologies include web beacons, pixels, and local storage.
2The Cookies We Use
We use cookies for the following purposes. The table below lists every cookie Jentoo AI itself sets.
2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These are essential for the Services to function. They include session cookies that keep you logged in, the counter that enforces free guest questions, and security cookies that help detect fraud and protect your account. You cannot opt out of these cookies because the Services would not work without them.
2.2 Functional Cookies
These remember your preferences and settings (such as a referral link you arrived through, or your display options) to provide a more personalized experience. Disabling these may reduce functionality.
2.3 Analytics Cookies
These help us understand how visitors use the Services — which pages are visited, how long users stay, and where errors occur. We use this information to improve the Services. Analytics cookies collect information in aggregate form and do not identify individual visitors. We set no analytics cookies unless you have chosen “Accept all”.
3Third-Party Cookies
Some cookies on the Services are set by third-party services we use. Our authentication vendor, Clerk, sets the session cookies that keep you signed in; these are strictly necessary.
We do not currently use a third-party analytics provider, and no payment-processor cookies are set until paid subscriptions launch. If either changes we will update this Policy and the table above before those cookies are set.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies and do not serve ads on the Services.
4Your Choices
You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the site footer, which reopens the choice between essential-only and all cookies.
You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, or to be notified before a cookie is set. Note that blocking certain cookies may affect your ability to use some features of the Services (for example, staying logged in).
Where required by law (for example, for users in the EU or UK), we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
5Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or our Privacy Policy.
