Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Jentoo AI, Inc.

The short version

Jentoo isn't a health app and never asks about your health — but a question you type can reveal something about it. We use it only to answer you and keep it in your history. We never use it to train AI, never use it for ads, and never sell it. You can export or delete it at any time.

1What This Policy Covers

Jentoo is a general learning app, not a health service. We never ask for health information. But a question you type or a file you attach can contain or reveal something about your health — a question about a symptom, a medication, a diagnosis, your mental health, pregnancy, or your body. Laws in some states, including Washington and Nevada, call that “consumer health data.” This policy explains how we handle it. It applies to everyone, wherever you live, and it adds to our Privacy Policy rather than replacing it.

2The Health Data We May Collect

The text of questions and follow-ups you ask, including any health information you choose to put in them;

Files you attach to a question (images and PDFs), which may show health information if you choose to attach that kind of file; and

The answers we generate in response.

We do not collect health data from devices or sensors, biometric data, or precise location. We do not build a profile of your health, and the subject labels we use to organize questions have no health category.

3Why We Collect It

Only to do what you asked: to create the answer to your question and, if you are signed in and not using incognito mode, to save that question and answer in your history so you can watch it again. If a question suggests that someone may be at risk of harming themselves, we show crisis resources instead of an answer; that question is not sent to any AI provider and is not stored.

We never use a question that may reveal health information to train AI models, whatever your training setting (Privacy Policy, Section 3.4). We never use it for advertising, and we never sell it.

4Where It Comes From

Directly from you, when you type or attach it.

5Who Processes It

AI providers, as our service providers: Anthropic (Claude writes and draws the lesson); Amazon Web Services (runs Claude for us on some requests); xAI (Grok reads the lesson aloud). The providers that write the answer receive your question and any file you attach; the voice provider receives only the answer's narration, which may discuss the subject of your question. In the iOS app, nothing is sent to any of them until you agree to it on screen.

Our hosting and database providers store your saved questions and answers on our behalf.

We do not sell consumer health data or share it with any other third party, except where the law requires it (for example, a valid court order).

6Your Rights

See it: download everything we hold about you in Settings ▸ Privacy & data ▸ Export your data.

Delete it: delete any question from your history, or delete your account and all of its data in Settings ▸ Privacy & data. Deletion is immediate.

Ask us: email support@jentoo.ai to request access to or deletion of your health data, or to ask which third parties have received it. We respond within 45 days. If we decline a request, we will tell you why, and you can appeal by replying to that decision; if your appeal is denied, you may contact the Attorney General of your state (in Washington, atg.wa.gov).

7How Long We Keep It

Saved questions and answers stay in your history until you delete them or your account. Separately, we keep the technical record of each question that our Privacy Policy describes, including the question's text — also for questions asked as a guest or in incognito mode, which are never saved to a history. Deleting your account deletes your history and erases the text of every question you asked; a guest can ask us to delete theirs at support@jentoo.ai.
